The suckler cow herd consists of 30 cows that are mostly Simmental and South Devon. They calve in March and April to an Aberdeen Angus bull. All calves are reared on the farm and sold finished at approximately two years old to Dovecote Park the dedicated meat supplier to Waitrose.
